Caritas Services
Whether you’re looking for evidence-based psychiatric care, transformative coaching, or a path toward conscious love, you’ve found a space where all parts of you are welcome.
Let’s take the next step—together.
Now accepting new clients for both psychiatric services (MD, VA, WV) and coaching worldwide.
Counseling & Psychiatric Services Available in Maryland, Virginia, and West Virginia
For those who need clinical support — not because they are weak, but because the pattern has become larger than insight alone can address.
As a board-certified PMHNP-BC with a doctoral degree, I provide comprehensive, trauma-informed psychiatric care for adults and adolescents navigating anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, and the emotional and relational patterns that underlie them. Services include diagnostic evaluation, psychopharmacology, psychotherapeutic support, and collaborative treatment planning across the full arc of care.
Medication, when indicated, is one part of a whole-person plan — never the whole plan.
Caritas Coaching™ Available worldwide
For those who are functioning — often functioning exceptionally well — and who know that something underneath is not matching the life they are living.
Coaching at Caritas is built on the Caritas Aligned™ framework: Awareness, Accountability, and Attunement. It is not self-help. It is the sustained, structured work of interrupting the relational and emotional patterns that insight alone has not been able to reach — in your relationships, your self-concept, and the daily choices that shape both.
If you have done the work before and something is still not shifting — this is where we go next.

Frequently Asked Questions
Caritas Counseling & Psychiatric Services is a self-pay practice. I do not participate directly with insurance companies — a decision that allows me to provide more personalized, private, and flexible care without the limitations, restrictions, or diagnostic labeling that insurance billing typically requires. You deserve care that focuses on healing, not just documentation.
Fees vary by service type and session length, and I will walk you through all pricing during your consultation. For those who wish to use out-of-network benefits, I am happy to provide a superbill for reimbursement submission. Payment is due at the time of service through a secure online platform.
Sessions are conducted virtually via a secure, HIPAA-compliant video platform. You will receive a private link via email or client portal prior to each appointment. Virtual sessions are clinically effective and often allow for a depth of work that feels more accessible in the privacy of your own space.
To get the most out of your time, I recommend joining from a quiet room where you feel emotionally safe. Headphones can help with privacy, and a journal nearby can be useful for note-taking or processing. A glass of water, a blanket, or a grounding object can help you stay centered. Give yourself a few minutes before and after to transition gently into and out of the work.
The most powerful sessions happen when you show up as you — not polished, not perfect, but present and open. Healing isn’t about having all the answers. It’s about making space for the truth, even when it’s messy or hard to put into words.
To deepen your progress, I encourage reflection between sessions. This might include journaling, practicing skills we discuss, or noticing how your patterns show up in daily life. You will get the most out of our work when you show up consistently, ask questions, share openly, and take honest responsibility for your part in the process.
Counseling focuses on emotional healing, trauma recovery, and resolving patterns that stem from your past. It often involves exploring your story, building insight, and developing regulation skills. It is ideal when you are struggling with anxiety, depression, grief, or emotional dysregulation.
Coaching is forward-focused and grounded in the Caritas Aligned™ framework — Awareness, Accountability, and Attunement. We work on relational patterns, conscious communication, boundary development, and the deeper emotional work that shapes how you show up in every relationship in your life. Coaching is not mental health treatment and does not require a clinical diagnosis. It is available nationwide and internationally.
Medication management is offered only to residents of MD, VA, and WV. It includes psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis, prescription support, and integration with therapeutic care. Medications are approached thoughtfully and holistically, always aiming to support — not suppress — your emotional growth.
Emotional healing and personal growth are nonlinear, layered processes. You may feel relief, discomfort, or clarity at different stages — and all of it is part of the journey. Expect to be met with compassion and professionalism, but also with honesty and accountability. This is not a space where you will be managed or placated. It is a space where you will be genuinely met.
I ask that you show up with openness, curiosity, and respect for our time together. This includes punctuality, consistent attendance, and emotional presence. If something isn’t working for you in our process, I welcome your feedback — our work is a co-creation, and I am here to support your autonomy and your healing.
Most people who come here have already done some version of the work. They have seen therapists, read the books, developed real insight into their patterns — and something is still not shifting. That is not a failure of effort. It is usually a gap between cognitive understanding and nervous system change — between knowing what the pattern is and having the conditions to actually do something different.
This practice is not standard talk therapy. The Caritas Aligned™ framework integrates attachment theory, IFS, family systems, and conscious coaching into a clinical approach that addresses not just what you think but how your body holds the pattern and how your relationships reflect it. If previous therapy gave you insight without integration, that is exactly where we pick up.
The consultation is the right place to bring this question directly. Tell me what has and hasn’t worked before. That information is where we start, not something to set aside.
No. Most of the people who come here are functioning well by most external measures. They are holding their lives together — often holding everyone else’s lives together too — while quietly carrying something that has not shifted despite their best efforts. They are not in crisis. They are in the long, exhausting middle of a pattern they can see but cannot seem to stop.
Clinical care is not only for people who are falling apart. It is for anyone whose interior life — their relationships, their emotional responses, their sense of self — is not matching the life they want to be living. If something is costing you more than it should, that is enough of a reason to come.
Our space is one of mutual respect, professionalism, and psychological safety. I maintain strong ethical and emotional boundaries to protect both your healing and the integrity of the relationship.
I ask that all clients refrain from aggressive, hostile, sexually inappropriate, or boundary-violating behavior. If you are in distress, that’s welcome — but behavior that compromises safety (mine or yours) will result in immediate boundary-setting or referral.
When we both show up with integrity, the work can go somewhere real.
